How order cost is calculated
When materials, wages and stage costs form one chain, margin stops being guesswork.
Cost is made of three parts: materials, labour and stage overhead. When each is tied to the order, margin is visible the day the order closes.
Materials
Board counts and edge-band length from the cutting sheet go straight into the bill of materials — no manual re-typing.
Labour
Piece-rate pay is tied to stage volume: you are paid for the m² you actually produced. The same amount lands in the order cost.
